Strawberry Rose Gin Spritz

Ingredients
  

500 mL carafe for two
  • 45 mL gin
  • 125 mL chilled Prosecco
  • 75 mL strawberry purée
  • 25 mL strawberry rose sugar syrup
  • 15 mL fresh lime juice
  • 215 mL chilled sparkling water
2-litre party jug
  • 180 mL gin
  • 500 mL chilled Prosecco
  • 300 mL strawberry purée
  • 100 mL strawberry rose sugar syrup
  • 60 mL fresh lime juice
  • 860 mL chilled sparkling water
To serve
  • Strawberry rose sugar for the rims
  • Ice
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Food-grade rose petals

Method
 

  1. Combine the gin, strawberry purée, strawberry rose sugar syrup and lime juice.
  2. Add the chilled Prosecco and sparkling water immediately before serving.
  3. Stir gently and serve over ice in glasses rimmed with strawberry rose sugar.
  4. Garnish with fresh strawberries and food-grade rose petals.

Notes

Note: Recommended sugar: Strawberry rose sugar.
Tip: For strawberry sugar syrup, gently warm equal quantities of your chosen strawberry sugar and water until dissolved, then cool before using.
Tip: Add ice to the glasses rather than the jug so the drinks stay balanced.
